The larger the accumulated inventory, the higher the cost per unit incurred. This study aims to identify inventory control, analyze storage capacity and inventory costs, develop more efficient inventory control strategies, and analyze inventory control cost efficiency. The methods used are Lagrange Multiplier and Min-Max. The results of the study indicate that the Min-Max method tends to maintain higher stock levels to anticipate demand fluctuations and procurement time uncertainties, even though fertilizer prices remain stable as determined by the producer's policy. Conversely, the Lagrange Multiplier method can optimize the quantity and frequency of orders based on warehouse capacity constraints, reducing total inventory costs by 19.35% compared to the previous method. This study demonstrates that the Lagrange Multiplier method is more effective in managing fertilizer inventory at CV Jago Subur compared to the Min-Max method. The advantage of this research lies in the discussion of inventory cost efficiency through a detailed comparative analysis between two different methods. One of the technologies that has developed and attracted attention in recent years is the use of drone sprayers for fertilization and pest control applications. This study aims to test the effectiveness of drone sprayers at two different spray volumes in controlling pests. The research was conducted from May to June in Babat Subdistrict, Lamongan Regency, East Java, using direct observation methods to observe white rice stem borer attacks on rice plants. The two spray volumes tested were 40 l/ha and 60 l/ha with drone flying speeds of 5.1 m/s and 4.5 m/s, respectively. The parameters observed included flying speed, spray volume, solution concentration, and the level of white rice stem borer attacks. The research results showed that the drone sprayer using a flying speed of 4.5 m/s and a spray volume of 60 l/ha provided better effectiveness compared to a flying speed of 5.1 m/s with a spray volume of 45 l/ha. This better result is suspected to be due to more even spraying at a slower speed compared to a higher speed. The spray results of both spray volumes provided better outcomes than the control field, which tended to increase the number of affected tillers and decrease the number of unaffected tillers.</p> </div> </div> </div> Articles drone sprayer padi penggerek batang putih Rifdah Ardelia Sanusi Harmanto Andy Saryoko Copyright (c) 0 2024-12-31 2024-12-31 262 270 Analysis Total Inventory Cost through the Design of an Inventory Information System for Processed Shallot Products https://staging-one.polbangtanbogor.cloud/index.php/prosiding/article/view/991 <div class="page" title="Page 1"> <div class="layoutArea"> <div class="column"> <p>PT Sinergi Brebes Inovatif (SBI) currently still uses manual inventory recording and has not implemented the First In First Out (FIFO) system in its inventory management, so it is necessary to create an inventory information system to facilitate the inventory recording process by applying the FIFO principle in it. The sprayer is crucial for lettuce plants as it can lower the temperature to optimal conditions for plant growth. This study aims to design and develop an automatic sprayer system used in greenhouses, which can effectively and efficiently respond to temperature changes to create an optimal environment for lettuce growth. The design of the automatic sprayer system to reduce room temperature involves the use of an Arduino Uno ATMega 328 microcontroller, temperature sensors, a sprayer pump, hoses, and nozzles. The research results show that the system can respond well to temperature changes. The sprayer's water flow rate used is 100 mL/min, with an effective spray width of the small nozzle opening of 82.4 cm and an effective spray height of 88.34 cm. The implemented sprayer design can lower the room temperature according to the set point. The study also shows that at certain times, the system cannot maintain the room temperature between 24°C and 26°C. This is due to the complex external environmental factors, which mean the heat absorption by the water from the sprayer cannot maintain the room temperature as planned.</p> </div> </div> </div> Articles arduino uno automatic greenhouse sprayer temperature reduction Setya Permana Sutisna Achmad Setiawan Tika Hafzara Siregar Hanif Zaidan Copyright (c) 0 2024-12-31 2024-12-31 64 76 Introduction to Making Goat Milk Candy Iin the Farmer Women Group Sejahtera I https://staging-one.polbangtanbogor.cloud/index.php/prosiding/article/view/968 <div class="page" title="Page 1"> <div class="layoutArea"> <div class="column"> <p>The lack of knowledge of the Women Farmers Group (KWT) regarding the processing of livestock products makes KWT can only process conventional chips, even though the products of livestock in Buniwangi Village are very diverse, such as goat milk. However, production has decreased due to lack of water and nutrients. This research aims to test the performance of PCJ emitters on melon growth in a substrate hydroponic system. This research used a factorial split plot with three replications and three segments by testing three types of emitters, namely PCJ 2 l/hour brand A (P1), PCJ 2 l/hour brand B (P2), and dripstick. The plant growth parameters observed included plant height, petiole length, number of leaves, leaf width and leaf length. Based on the discharge test results, the average discharge values at P1, P2, and P3 are 3.25 l/hour, 1.65 l/hour, and 4.06 l/hour, respectively. The level of uniformity of watering or dripping for each emitter is included in the very good category. Treatments P1, P2, and P3 did not show significant differences in the growth of melon plants in the early vegetative phase. However, at 25 and 28 days after planting (DAP), differences in the performance of the two emitters became apparent in petiole length and leaf number, due to increased water and nutrient requirements and efficient water distribution. The composition of the media determines the success of tissue culture, including the concentration of plant growth regulators. Exogenous plant growth regulators of the auxin and cytokinine groups that are widely used in tissue culture media are 2,4-Dichlorophenoxy Acetic Acid (2,4-D) and Benzyl Adenine (BA). This study aims to determine the effect of giving a combination of 2,4-D and BA concentrations on the growth of <em>Aglaonema</em> sp. with tissue culture. The study was conducted at the Biotechnology and Tissue Culture Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Muhammadiyah Jakarta. The study used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) Factorial, with 2 factors, namely, factor 1: 0.1 mg/l 2,4-D, 0.3 mg/l 2,4-D, and 0.5 mg/l 2,4-D; factor 2: 8 BA, 9 mg/l BA, and 10 mg/l BA. The results showed that the administration of a combination of 2,4-D and BA concentrations had no effect on the growth of <em>Aglaonema</em> sp., but the administration of a single concentration of BA had an effect on the percentage of living explants. The administration of a single dose of 8 mg/l BA had a very significant effect on the percentage of living explants, while the administration of a combination of 0.1 mg/l 2,4-D + 8 mg/l BA concentrations gave the best results and was significantly different from the percentage of living explants.</p> Articles Ifan Nur Alim Nurul Fitriah Rita Tri Puspitasari Copyright (c) 0 2024-09-28 2024-09-28 1 11 The Study of Quality Characteristics of Goat Milk Powder’s Process https://staging-one.polbangtanbogor.cloud/index.php/prosiding/article/view/752 <p>Goat's milk has several advantages compared to cow's milk.
